Currently located in Scotland, Jason is the Artistic Director and Founder of the Edinburgh International Improv Festival and Co-Founder of the Glasgow Improv Theatre. A respected teacher and performer, Jason is passionate about empowering improvisers to find their voice and to use justification and emotion to enrich their scene work.
Jason is a member of Glasgow team Jammy Goodness, The Edinburgh team Dating Crapp, The Good Leads alongside Billy Merritt, Sarah Claspell, Julie Brister, Ruha Taslimi and Josh Simpson and Per The God with David Theune and Chloe Godman.
Available to teach or coach, Jason runs courses and workshops both locally within Scotland, online and further afield at festivals. He has previously taught at Red Rocks Improv Festival, Newcastle Improv Festival and many others.
He is a big believer in using improv techniques in corporate settings. Whilst in New York he helped co-found the corporate improv training company Improv (In)Corporation.
Recently Jason developed the improv form The Glen. Based on the play Glengarry Glen Ross, it combines character play and how those characters build whilst focusing on an event that takes place. Jason runs courses through Will Hines’ World’s Greatest Improv School teaching the form and it is performed monthly by teams in Glasgow as well as by his own online team, The Good Leads.
